Terms
The agreement between you and BearingBridge when you use this site or hire one of our agencies.
What BearingBridge does
Beyond Border Group Ltd, registered in Hong Kong, runs a group of cross-border agencies. We sell strategy, web infrastructure, social media, content production, distribution sourcing, and coordinated account management for brands moving across the China and West border in either direction. Each engagement is governed by a separate written agreement that names the agency, the scope, the fees, and the timeline. These site-wide terms cover everything around it.
Use of this site
You agree to use bearingbridge.org for its intended purpose: learning about the group, contacting us, applying for a role. You will not scrape it, attempt to break into it, copy it to pass off as your own, run automated tools against it that interfere with normal use, or upload anything illegal through the contact form.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, the agency logos, the writing, the photography, and the underlying code belong to Beyond Border Group Ltd or its licensors. You can read it. You can quote short passages with attribution and a link back. You cannot rebuild it or pass it off as your own.
For client work: deliverables produced under a signed engagement transfer to the client on receipt of full payment, except where the engagement letter says otherwise. Background tools, frameworks, internal templates, and trained models we built before or alongside your project stay with us.
Payment
Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Past 30 days, we charge interest at 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the legal maximum if lower. After 15 days late, we may pause the work; after 60 days, we may end the engagement and keep what has been paid.
No warranty, limited liability
We bring care and competence to every engagement. We do not guarantee that a site will rank, that a campaign will convert, that a partner will close, or that the site you are reading right now is bug-free. Beyond what local law forbids us from disclaiming, the site and our services are provided as is.
If something goes wrong and we are at fault, our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid for the specific engagement that caused the problem, in the twelve months before the claim. We are not on the hook for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
Confidentiality
Anything you tell us in confidence (strategy, financials, customer lists, unreleased product), we keep in confidence. Your team treats our pricing, methods, and internal documents the same way. Both obligations run for two years after the engagement ends, or longer when the law or a separate non-disclosure agreement says so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Hong Kong courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where a separate written agreement names a different arbitral seat or forum.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you read it is the version that applies. Material changes will be flagged at the top so you can see what moved.
